TALENT HUNT COMPETITION

“Every child is gifted. They just unwrap their talents at different times.” 

To celebrate the unique talents of students , our school organized a two – day ‘Talent Hunt Competition’

DAY 1: STAGE TALENT

DAY 2 : 24^th APRIL 2026, FRIDAY

VENUE : SCHOOL AUDITORIUM

THEMES : SOLO DANCE AND SOLO SINGING

           III : Patriotic

           IV : Folk

            V : Fusion ( Dance Style)    

The first day featured Solo Dance and Solo Singing competitions. Students performed enthusiastically on the themes- Patriotic, Folk and Fusion Dance. Their energetic performances, melodious singing and confident stage presence captivated the audience. The event encouraged  the students to overcome stage fear, improve their communication and performance skills and appreciate the rich cultural diversity reflected in different dance forms. 

DAY 2 : ART TALENT

              V : Healthy food and living      V: Clay art on pots 

The second day was dedicated to ‘Art Talent’ featuring Poster-making and Clay Modelling competitions based on their respective themes. Students showcased their creativity, imagination and artistic skills by creating meaningful posters and innovative clay models. The activities helped students and encouraged them to think creatively, express their ideas visually and develop fine motor and problem-solving skills.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY (PRIMARY)

DATE : 29^th APRIL 2026, WEDNESDAY

VENUE : AUDITORIUM 

The investiture ceremony of the primary section was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity to officially appoint the newly elected student council members for the academic session. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address, followed by a brief introduction of the day, highlighting the significance of leadership, responsibility and service. The Student Council members then made a proud and graceful entry. The ceremony proceeded with lightning of the lamp, prayer and a graceful prayer dance created a serene and spiritual atmosphere.

The student leaders including the Head boy; Master Shreshtha Suwalka and Head girl; Miss Taha Nawaz, along with the other council members and in-charges were formally invested with sashes and badges marking the acceptance of their responsibilities. This was followed by the Oath Taking ceremony, where the pledged to perform their duties with sincerity, honesty and dedication. The newly elected Head Boy and Head Girl then delivered inspiring speeches, expressing their gratitude and commitment to serving the school with integrity. Subsequently, the class monitors also took their oath, promising to upload discipline and assist their teachers and classmates responsibly. Our Principal, Rev. Fr. Martin Anto addressed the gathering, congratulating the newly appointed leaders and emphasized that the true leadership is reflected through discipline, teamwork and selfless service. The programme conclude with a vote of Thanks followed by School Anthem, and a group photograph, capturing the memorable day, preserving the pride and joy of this milestone event.

Craft a Story Competition  (2026-27)

 Date :      31^st July, 26

 Day:         Friday

 Venue :    Auditorium

 Themes

   Class III -  Twist The End . (give a new ending to a famous tale)

   Class IV -  Picture Tales .

   Class V – Think, Link And Tell .

The main objective of the competition was to enhance students’ communication skills, boost their confidence, overcome stage fright , encourage creativity and imagination .

Craft a Story Competition was held in two phases. The semi final round was conducted on 25th July, 26 in the classes where two finalists were selected from each section of classes III to V for the final round.

 With great excitement the final round was conducted on 31^st July, 26. After the welcome and introduction, the rules and guidelines of the competition were announced. To craft engaging narratives on given theme, specific guidelines and the time limit participants of classes III to V were called on the stage one by one. All the participants were well prepared. Using the hints provided each wove a unique story and concluded it with a moral. They proved that human brain has a unique capacity of imagination as each story was different. Participants’ confidence, flow of thoughts, voice modulation left the audience spellbound. Every presentation ended with enthusiastic applause and appreciation for the participants .With a vote of thanks the event drew to a pleasant close.

The competition was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
